The company sells mainly 30 year old timber. However, increasing volumes of smaller diameter logs, thinned-out from the young re-growth plantations will be available during next years.
Logs are classified in accordance to their grade, girth and length. Logs are measured in the Metric System and their volume calculated by the Geometric formula for the cylinder. Sales abroad obey to a minimum volume of 24m3, equivalent to a 40’ container load. Sales inside the country start at 12m3, which is equivalent to a three axle truck load.
To reduce freight costs some clients from abroad prefer to purchase roughly squared logs.
